I wanted to make guac and salsa that was totally baby-friendly. Babies are pretty immune to sour, Ella can suck on a lemon without seeming too vexed. So this is a riff on guac and on my banana ceviche from the banana dinner, but made for ella
- 3 avocados
- 1 banana
- 3 limes
- Juice the limes.
- Slice the Avocados into small pieces, putting them immediately into the lime juice.
- Slice the banana into thin pieces, adding to the avocado.
- Salt to taste and then partially mash the mixture so that it contains chunks of avocado and banana in a sludge of avocado and lime.
- Serve with chips. If you’re serving grownups, a bit of cayenne available on the side really completes the flavor.
