The Feast of the Alcoholic: Description

My friend Dominick came up with the idea for an all-alcohol themed meal. I decided that each course of the meal had to not only contain a different type of alcohol, but actually had to be based on a classic cocktail. We had enough guests that someone was assigned to bring the drink to go along with each course — not to bring the cocktail the dish was based on, but to bring a cocktail that would go well with what I had made. So every dinner guest was privy to a single dish, and everyone got to  be surprised at the other offerings. It was a very successful evening, so I’ve been told.
